Every rug we make is born from the hands of skilled artisans who have spent years mastering their craft. We don't resell. We don't outsource. We manufacture — from raw material to finished product — right here in our own facility.
Who We Are
Ramya Overseas is a Panipat-based rug manufacturing and export company. We specialize in handcrafted rugs made from premium materials including New Zealand wool, Indian wool, jute, and cotton. Our products are exported to customers and businesses across the USA, UK, Europe, Australia, and beyond.
How We Make Our Rugs
- Hand-Tufted: Skilled artisans use a tufting gun to push yarn through a canvas backing, creating dense, plush pile rugs. Each rug takes 2–3 weeks to complete.
- Hand-Knotted: Our most premium construction — each knot is tied individually by hand on a loom. Depending on size and complexity, these rugs take 8–20 weeks to complete. A true heirloom piece.
- Flatweave / Dhurrie: Woven on traditional looms without pile, these rugs are lightweight, reversible, and incredibly durable.

- New Zealand Wool: Sourced for its superior softness, natural sheen, and durability. Ideal for premium hand-tufted and hand-knotted rugs.
- Indian Wool: Robust and resilient — perfect for high-traffic areas.
- Jute: Natural, eco-friendly, and earthy — great for casual and coastal interiors.
- Cotton: Soft, washable, and versatile for everyday use.
